WHILE ON HIS THIRD SUPERVISED SOLO, THE STUDENT PILOT TOUCHED DOWN SHORT OF THE RUNWAY. THE NOSE GEAR ENTERED A SMALL DITCH AND SHEARED OFF. THE AIRPLANE CAME TO REST INVERTED.
