NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On September 27, 1994, at about 1700 eastern daylight time, a Beech C35, N8784A, owned and operated by Gordon Marker, of Lexington, Massachusetts, struck the surface of Lake Erie, in Canadian controlled waters. The airplane was destroyed and the pilot was fatally injured. The weather conditions at the accident site are unknown; however, clouds were in the area. No flight plan had been filed for the flight operated under 14 CFR part 91. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the government of Canada.
