NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On June 20, 1997, a Boeing 737 on a flight from Dublin (EIDW) to Copenhagen (EKCH), the crew decided to make a go-around after receiving several cockpit-warning indications. The airplane returned for a second attempt with additional warnings. The airplane landed uneventfully; however during taxi, the crew sensed smoke in the cockpit. The passengers were evacuated with no injuries via slides on taxiway. The AAIB Denmark issued a report. (34/97-4-903/EI-CDT). Investigation found failure of R1 relay.
