NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On December 24, 1997, a Transavia Airlines Boeing 767-200, Transavia Flight 462, registered as PH-TKC, experienced a collapsed nose landing gear assembly upon landing at Schiphol International Airport, Amsterdam, Holland. The weather at the time was VFR and the flight was on an IFR flight plan. None of the 205 passengers or 8 crewmembers were injured. The airplane was substantially damaged. The accident is being conducted by the Netherlands Bureau of Accident and Incident Investigation.
