NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On June 23, 1999, at about 2110 UTC, a Gemini Air Cargo DC-10, N607GC,operating as Air France flight 6844 (a charter) from Fort du France (TFFF) to Pointe a Pitre (TFFR) made a non-standard instrument approach to the TFFR airport. This incident is being investigated by the French government, and any requests for information should be directed to Bureau Enquetes-Accidents, 153 Batiment , Aeroport du Bourget, 93352 Le Bourget Cedex.
