NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

Transbrazil flight 202 from Sao Paulo to Porto Alegre overran runway 29 upon landing. Weather was described as "raining heavily with poor visibility." The airplane came to rest in a ditch about 1000 feet off the end of the runway. The nose gear was collapsed into the fuselage and the left engine was torn from the wing. There were no serious injuries.
