NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On February 29, 2000, about 0735 coordinated universal time, a Bell 214ST helicopter, N7824H, registered to and operated by Aramco as a Title 14 CFR Part 91 training flight, rolled over while taxiing at Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time, and an instrument flight rules flight plan was filed. The airline transport-rated pilot, a second pilot, and three passengers received minor injuries. The flight originated the same day about 0700. After completing an external load training flight, the helicopter was taxiing to be refueled when it rolled over, incurring substantial damage.
