NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

AN APU AFTER-FIRE OCCURRED DRG APU START DURING TAXI TO THE TERMINAL AFTER LANDING. PASSENGERS WHO SAW FLAMES PANICKED AND INITIATED AN EVACUATION. FLT ATTENDANTS THEN ASSISTED IN THE EVACUATION. THERE WAS NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE. THE APU BURNER CAN LINER IGNITER PLUGS AND FUEL ATOMIZER WERE REPLACED. APU CHECKED OUT OKAY AFTERWARD AND WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.
