NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

DURING DESCENT AN ELECTRIC WIRE BUNDLE SHORTED BEHIND THE FLIGHT ENGINEERS PANEL, A FIRE ERUPTED WITH SMOKE. THE FLIGHT ENGINEER USED A PORTABLE FIRE EXTINGUISHER TO PUT OUT THE FIRE.
