NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On June 4, 2001, about 1747 Universal Coordinated Time, a Bell 47G, German registration D-HAPP, was substantially damaged when it struck a high-tension cable near Merseburg, Germany. The pilot sustained minor injuries. No flight plan had been filed for the flight that departed Bohlen, Germany. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Germany.
