NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On June 3, 2001, at 1444 Universal Coordinated Time, a Bell P-63A-7BE, G-BTWR, was destroyed while maneuvering at an air show at Biggin Hill Airport (EGKB), United Kingdom. The pilot was fatally injured.
According to UK authorities, the airplane was taking part in an air show, appeared to stall, and exploded on impact.
