NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

The Boeing 707 made a hard landing with the nose landing gear touching down before the main landing gear. The nose landing gear failed followed by the left main landing gear. The aircraft turned left about 90 degrees to the runway. The aircraft suffered substantial damage to the fuselage and landing gear. The Brazilian Civil Aviation Department-AirSafety Division (DIPAA-DAC) conducted an investigation of the accident.
