NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On May 22, 2002, at approximately 1630 UTC, a Boeing 757-200, registered as G-MONC and operated by Monarch Airlines, sustained frame damage to the forward lower fuselage during rapid de-rotation upon landing at Gibraltar. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch of the United Kingdom is responsible for the investigation.
