NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On January 14, 2003, at 1106 universal coordinated time, a Cessna 411, N7374U, was substantially damaged while landing at Guarani International Airport (SGES), Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. The Paraguayan certificated pilot and five passengers were not injured. The flight departed President Stroessner International Airport (SGAS), Asuncion, Paraguay, and operated under Paraguayan flight rules.
According to a representative of the government of Paraguay, during landing rollout on runway 05, the pilot attempted to exit the runway at intersection A. During the right turn, the left main landing gear collapsed.
The accident is under investigation by the government of Paraguay. For further information contact:
