NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On June 18, 2003, about 0945 Pacific daylight time, a Cessna T210L, N210VC, had a loss of control during the takeoff roll while departing from a private airstrip near Anahim Lake, British Columbia, Canada. The private pilot and two passengers were not injured; the airplane sustained substantial damage. The personal cross-country flight was en route to Portland, Oregon. Day visual meteorological conditions prevailed, and an instrument flight rules (IFR) flight plan had been filed. The primary wreckage was at 53 degrees 05 minutes north latitude and 125 degrees 24 minutes west longitude. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of, and is being investigated by, the Government of Canada.
