NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On March 7, 2004 at 1000 central standard time, a Cessna 208B airplane, Mexican registration XA-TBJ, was substantially damaged during a forced landing following a loss of engine power near Celaya, Mexico. The commercial pilot and co pilot were not injured and their two passengers sustained minor injuries. The aircraft was operated by Lynx Servicios Aeroes, S.A. of Monterey, Mexico. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the air taxi flight and a flight plan was filed. The aircraft, serial number 0463, was powered by a P&W of Canada PT6A-114A engine. The investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Government of the Republic of Mexico.
