NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

An Emirates B777-300 while in cruise flight from Dubai to Singapore experienced an in-flight fire warning in the bulk cargo area. The flight crew diverted to Chennai, India. There were 18 crew members and 380 passengers on board. No injuries were reported. In the cargo hold a passenger bag was found destroyed by a smoldering fire. No damage was done to the aircraft.
