NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On July 28th, a 767 operated by East African Safari Air experienced a fire in the left engine shortly after takeoff from Rome. The flight crew extinguished the fire after the second fire bottle was discharged. The airplane returned to Rome and landed uneventfully.
