NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On November 11, 2004, at 1537 coordinated universal time, a Robinson R-22B, G-TGRR, was destroyed when it impacted the ground in Bishopton, United Kingdom. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight departed Shobdon and was destined for Wellesbourne, United Kingdom.
According to the Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB), a witness observed the helicopter in an uncontrolled descent, followed by an impact with the ground and subsequent explosion.
