NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

Delta Air Lines B-767-332, N174DN, was enroute from Zurich, Switzerland to Atlanta, Georgia, at FL310, on January 19, 2005, when they experienced substantial vibrations in the No. 2 engine. The engine was shut down and the crew diverted to Nice, France. There were no injuries to the 92 passengers and crew, and the airplane received minor damage. On landing a substantial fuel leak was observed near the no. 2 nacelle. This incident is being investigated by the French BEA and all future release of information will come from them.
