NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On April 23, 2005, time unknown, a Reims Aviation F150L, German registration D-EHGS, was substantially damaged during a forced landing in Steinfeld, Germany. The flight was operating under German flight rules. According to an investigator from the German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Investigation (BFU), the pilot reported "engine problems" over the radio, and during the forced landing, the airplane struck the top of tree prior to nosing down into a meadow. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Federal Republic of Germany.
