NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On March 6, 2006, at an unknown time, a Mooney M-20K, German registration D-EIOI, was destroyed following a loss of control in flight. The accident occurred near Hohnstein, Sachsen, Germany. The airplane was being operated under the provisions of German civil aviation regulations when the accident occurred. The pilot was fatally injured. The flight originated in Dresden, Germany, with a planned destination of Riesa, Germany. Information provided by the Government of Germany, indicated the weather was deteriorated at the time of the accident. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of, and is being conducted by the German Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accidents Investigation, Braunschweig, Germany.
