NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

An Atlantic Airways BAe-146-200A, chartered by Aker Kvaerner, crashed after the airplane overran the runway at the Stord-Sorstokken Airport in Norway on October 10, 2006. There were 12 passengers on board and 4 crew members. There was a post crash fire that resulted in 4 fatalities, 3 passengers and 1 crew member. The engines on the aircraft are Lycoming ALF502R-5, which is a Textron owned company.
