NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On February 10, 2007, at 1306 coordinated universal time (1406 central European Time), a Piper PA-34-200T, United States registered N2195B, owned and piloted by the accident pilot, was destroyed when it impacted terrain under unknown circumstances near Gresse-en-Vercors, France. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The private pilot and two passengers were fatally injured. The flight originated from Shoreham Airport (EGKA), United Kingdom. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the French government.
