NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On November 24, 2006, at 1505 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-46-500TP, OE-KDM, was destroyed when it impacted trees after departure at Tartu/Ulenurme Airport (EETU), Tartu, Estonia. The three occupants were seriously injured. The private charter flight was destined for the Dresden Airport (EDDC), Dresden, Germany. According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications of the Republic of Estonia, the Austrian registered airplane impacted in a wooden area 2,100 feet west of the airport and came to rest 75 feet south of the runway 26 extended centerline. This investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Republic of Estonia.
