NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On November 30, 2007, an Atlasjet MD-83, registration TC-AKM, crashed during approach to Isparta Airport (LTBM), Isparta, Turkey. The 50 passengers and 7 crewmembers were killed and the airplane was destroyed.
The investigation is being conducted by the Turkish Directorate General of Civil Aviation. The NTSB has assigned an Accredited Representative to assist the investigation under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13 as the Country of Manufacture and Design of the airplane.
