NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On January 25, 2007, F-HALS, a Raytheon Beechcraft B-1900, registration F-HALS, operated by Alsair, exited the runway at Samedan airport, Switzerland. The airplane was on a revenue passenger flight from Paris Le Bourget airport.
According to initial information, during the approach, the crew noticed that the green light for the landing gear did not light up. After a go-around, an escorting plane noticed that the landing gear was extended. Then the crew made a normal landing. As the plane already touched the ground, it left the runway to the left and stopped in the snow.
The airplane experience minor damage and their were no injuries to the 2 crew and 13 passengers.
This accident is being investigated by the Swiss AAIB (BFU-CH).
