NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On December 17, 2007, about 1900 coordinated universal time, a Grumman G164A, Chilean registry CC-CCG, was substantially damaged during a forced landing near Parral, Chile. The pilot was not injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the local aerial application flight. The airplane was maneuvering during an aerial application flight when the engine began to experience a loss of power, and the pilot performed a forced landing to a field. This accident investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Government of Chile.
