NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On May 2, 2006, at about 2213 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), an Airbus A320-211, registration EK-32009, operated as Armavia Airlines flight RNV967, crashed into the Black Sea near Sochi Airport.
The Air Accident Investigation Commission of the Interstate Aviation Committee, Moscow, Russia, conducted the investigation. On February 12, 2007 the final report was issued. For further information please contact the IAC.
