NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On December 12, 2006, at 0945 universal coordinated time, a Gulfstream American Corporation model 690C (Jetprop 840) airplane, registration N840PN, serial no. 11679, experienced a jammed power lever for the left engine and a subsequent failure of the corresponding propeller feathering system. The flight departed Shannon International Airport (EINN), near Limerick, Ireland, and made an uneventful landing at Lelystad Airport (EHLE), near Lelystad, Netherlands. The pilot and four passengers were not injured. The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Dutch Transport Safety Board.
