NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On June 19, 2010, at 1811 eastern daylight time, a Boeing 737-800, N3730B, operating as Delta Air Lines flight number 1733, was substantially damaged when it was hit by a baggage cart at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK), New York, New York. At the time of the accident, there were 5 crewmembers aboard and no injuries. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed, and an instrument flight rules flight plan had been filed for Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), Salt Lake City, Utah. The scheduled passenger flight was being operated under 14 CFR Part 121.
