NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On February 18, 2011, approximately 1705 coordinated universal time (1105 central standard time), a Lear Jet 24, XBGHO, registered to Rutas Aereas Mayas Flight School, was destroyed when it impacted terrain and a building while doing touch-and-go landings at Pachuca (MMPC), Mexico. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The two pilots, the sole occupants, were fatally injured. The flight originated from Pachuca approximately 1654 UTC (1054 cst). The Mexican investigators received reports that the airplane was doing touch-and-go landings when the accident occurred. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Mexican government.
