NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On September 30, 2011, about 1130 coordinated universal time (UTC), a Bell 212 helicopter, EC-GIC and a Bell 212 helicopter, CC-CIS, collided midair during firefighting operations, near Bienservida, Spain. The pilot of CC-CIS was fatally injured.
This investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Spanish Civil Aviation and Incident Investigation Commission. Any further information may be obtained from:
