NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On July 16, 2012, at 1428 coordinated universal time, an Air Tractor AT-802, Spanish registration EC-HMD, owned by a private individual, sustained minor damage when it made a forced landing near Ibiza, Spain. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed at the time of the accident. The pilot was not injured. The flight originated from Ibiza Airport, Ibiza, Spain, and was destined for Son Bonet Aerodrome, Mallorca, Spain.
The Spanish investigators reported that the pilot made an emergency landing due to an engine failure.
