NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident

On May 30, 2013, about 0830 central daylight time, a Piper PA-32R-301T, United States registration N371HP, was substantially damaged during a forced landing following a loss of engine power near Lagunillas, Jalisco, Mexico. The pilot was fatally injured, and the four passengers were seriously injured. The airplane was registered to Adams Aviation Services Inc. Trustee. The flight departed the Puerto Vallarta Airport (MMPR), with an intended destination of the Guadalajara Airport (MMGL). The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil (DGAC).
