On June 25, 2014, about 1600 mountain daylight time, a Piper PA 30 Twin Comanche, N7350Y, collided with terrain following a loss of engine power on the right engine during takeoff from runway 20 at Glacier Park International Airport, Kalispell, Montana. The pilot/owner was operating the airplane under the provisions of 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 91. The private pilot and passenger sustained minor injuries. The airplane sustained substantial damage to the right wing and fuselage during the accident sequence. The cross-country personal flight was departing with a planned destination of Eureka, Montana. The airplane veered to the right, away from the runway, and contacted the ground. The right wing and engine partially separated from the fuselage.
