NTSB Narrative Summary Released at Completion of Accident
On August 18, 2014, about 1000 local time, a Cessna 340A, N340MM, operated by Aqua Sun Investments, Inc., was destroyed when it impacted shallow waters about 5 nautical miles northwest of Grand Bahama International Airport (MYGF), Freeport, Grand Bahama, The Bahamas. The Canadian pilot and three U.S. passengers were fatally injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed. The airplane departed Ormond Beach Municipal Airport (KOMN), Ormond Beach, Florida, on an instrument flight rules flight plan to MYGF, and was operating under Bahamian flight regulations at the time of the accident.
