On September 23, 2014, about 0729 universal coordinated time (UTC), a United Kingdom registered Kitfox MK2, G-TOMZ, had a midair collision with a United Kingdom registered Cessna F177RG, G-AZTW, near Tempsford, United Kingdom. The pilot of the Kitfox MK2 was fatally injured, and the pilot of the Cessna F177RG was not injured.
